Winter tried it. We survived it. Now it’s time to step outside, shake it off, and celebrate this thing called life—together.

At Boone Pride, we gather to celebrate community, visibility, and the right for everyone to exist as they are.We celebrate us.We stand proud.We celebrate all people—across identities, backgrounds, and experiences.

Join us for the 4th Annual Boone Iowa Pride Family Celebration on April 18, 2026 from 10AM–4PM at the Downtown Boone Green Space.

This day is about creating space—space for LGBTQIA+ individuals to feel seen, supported, and celebrated, and space for allies to show up, learn, and stand alongside their community.

This isn’t just an event—it’s a reflection of what community can look like when everyone has a place at the table.

You’ll find:

• Local vendors and artists

• Music, dance, and live entertainment

• Educational opportunities and resources

• A Paw Paw Pet Pride Parade 🐾

• Storytelling, face painting, crafts, and sidewalk chalk art

• Food trucks and free family-friendly activities

• And so much more

• Volunteers for setup and breakdown

• Help with vendor unloading, setup, and parking guidance

• Booth support for the Boone Pride table

• Help keeping the space clean, including trash pickup and restocking porta potties
